Dubai International Boat Show 2026: A Buyer's Guide

The Dubai International Boat Show 2026 runs 25 to 29 November at Dubai Harbour. Dates, opening times, the other Gulf shows that month and how to prepare.
The 32nd Dubai International Boat Show takes place from 25 to 29 November 2026 at Dubai Harbour, about five weeks from now. Its organiser describes it as the largest marine and luxury lifestyle show in the region, so if you are thinking about buying a yacht in the UAE this season, it is a good chance to see a wide range of boats in one place. This guide sets out the confirmed details and how to make the visit useful.
New dates, and why they changed
The show was originally due to run from 8 to 12 April 2026. In March, the organiser, Dubai World Trade Centre, moved it to late November. Trade press reports differ slightly on the reason. BoatIndustry linked the decision to the conflict in the Middle East and its effect on international travel. Marine Industry News reported that the organiser presented the change as aligning the show with the start of the regional boating season, and described it as a permanent move to November each year.
For buyers, the practical effect is that the show now falls at the start of the cooler months and the Gulf boating season, rather than at its end.
Dates and opening times
According to the official show website, the 2026 opening hours are:
- Wednesday 25 November: 15:00 to 20:00
- Thursday 26 November: 15:00 to 20:00
- Friday 27 November: 15:00 to 21:00
- Saturday 28 November: 15:00 to 21:00
- Sunday 29 November: 15:00 to 20:00
The venue is Dubai Harbour. Some pages on the official site, such as the travel offers page, still refer to the old April dates, so check tickets, prices and any partner offers directly with the organiser before you book.
A busy November in the Gulf
Dubai is not the only show that month. The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show runs from 19 to 22 November 2026 at Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre, according to the organiser's April announcement, which mentions on-water trials and a dedicated charter section. Trade press also lists the Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show for 12 to 15 November at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club Marina, and the Qatar Boat Show for 4 to 7 November. No official confirmation of the pre-owned show dates was available at the time of writing, so treat them as provisional.
This cluster can work in a buyer's favour. Within about three weeks you could look at used boats in one week and new models in the next, and compare what is on offer across two emirates. BoatIndustry noted that the tight schedule may stretch exhibitors who attend several shows, so it is worth confirming which boats each builder or dealer is actually bringing to which event.
What this means for buyers
A boat show is a good place to compare, and a poor place to rush. A few practical steps:
- Decide your brief first. Be clear on size, use (day boating, overnight trips, entertaining) and budget, including running costs, before you go. In the 30 to 100 ft range, layouts and engine choices vary widely between models of similar length.
- Contact exhibitors ahead. Ask in advance whether the yachts you want to see need a viewing appointment, especially for the busier weekend days.
- Ask for the full specification. A show boat often carries options. Ask which features are standard and what the quoted price includes, such as VAT, delivery and commissioning.
- Treat show offers with care. A show discount is only useful if the boat suits you. Any deposit or contract signed at a show deserves the same checks as one signed elsewhere.
- Plan the next step. For a used yacht, that means a survey and sea trial. For a new one, ask about build slots and delivery dates in writing.
The show is a starting point, not a decision. Take notes, collect specifications and compare properly once the week is over.
